Information
What is the Student FPRA Capital Chapter?
We are an organization in Tallahassee for local FSU, FAMU and TCC students of any major who are interested in a career in public relations. Bi-weekly meetings held on FSU’s campus provide students the opportunity to learn measures about the field of PR. Industry professionals are invited to speak at each meeting to share their experiences and advice with aspiring professionals. Aside from meetings, the organization provides invaluable networking, internship and job opportunities as well as hosts professional development trips each fall and spring semester.
For more information about our parent chapters, visit http://fpra-capital.org/ and http://www.fpra.org/.
How do I join?
It’s easy! Meeting dates and locations can be found under “Upcoming Events.” Once you’re there, you will fill out a short contact form for the Capital Chapter and pay dues once a semester.

Hey,
My name is Tia and I am currently a FSU M.C.S and Political Science major. I orignally wanted to be in P.R. but did not get in the major. I figured joining FPRA would be good for me. I just wanted to know how much are dues? I know they are due at the next meeting on the 29th and I will be there, I think its 45 bucks… but i just want to make sure also does it have to be in check? Can we pay in cash?
THANKS SO MUCH,
Santia St. Surain
Santia,
Yes, dues are $45 and can be paid in cash or in a check, made out to FPRA! See you next Wednesday!
